Cannabidiolic acid, also known as CBDa, is the acidic precursor of CBD. CBDa mimics the active compounds that are found in fresh hemp more closely than CBD, and is therefore more desirable to hemp connoisseurs that want a more complete spectrum included in their CBD products.
