A bucking machine, also called destemmer, debudder or bucker. is a harvester that efficiently removes buds from the stems before trimming. When the harvest comes, there is always a lot of talk about trimming (hand trimming or automatic trimming). Bucking can sometimes be a side issue. In reality, if your destemming process is out of order, the efficiency of your entire crop will suffer! Whether you cut by hand or with a commercial trimmer, a bud bucker is an investment that will definitely pay for itself after one harvest.
Our DTC BUCKER table stand model has been designed to facilitate the ‘bucking’ process being the removal of the flowers from the stem. WET or DRY, Simple and safe to use, the DTC BUCKER will cut your bucking time by at least 50% while being gentler on the flowers. Feed the stem into one of the holes and the BUCKER rubber rollers will pull it through leaving the branch cleanly stripper. The flowers are caught and ready to be loaded into the DTC TRIMMER of your choice.
